Triage & Tremors

I was standing in the field not too far from the Village. The grass was up to my waist and I was breathing hard like I had run for miles. I took a deep breath and looked around. I was exhausted. I looked around for landmarks. I could see the Meadow through an opening in the trees and I could see the silhouette of the Village behind me. I wasn’t far from any point of importance and yet it felt like I ran miles and miles!

I looked around the field, it was filled with people just like me, exhausted not really wanting to take another step. Jesus walked up beside me. “The tall grass isn’t an easy place to walk.” I looked up at Him and said, “No kidding.” He touched my shoulder and smiled, “Look down.” I looked down; I was a mess and injured. I had wooden blow-darts all over my body! I looked at the others around me in the field and we all looked like pin cushions! I saw movement in the grass and realized the enemy was all around - watching, trying to strategize. Then to my right an angel approached with a wooden bowl. Inside the bowl was a pearly white salve that was swirled with blues and purples. He dipped his fingers in the bowl and looked at my wounds, “May I?” He asked. I answered, “Yes.” He took the salve and began to apply it to my wounds and the darts dissolved.

Angels were going up to all of the wounded offering the salve. Some saw the angels and allowed the touch from Heaven. I noticed that in the tall grass of the field there were narrow paths. As angels approached more of the wounded some of them didn’t seem to see the angels, but instead saw the paths, and chose the narrow path. I looked at Jesus, “Where do those paths lead?” “Back to the main path that leads to the village,” Jesus responded. At first, I was puzzled about how people could possibly not see the angels, but saw the path, and would head towards it without first checking in with Jesus. Then it hit me! The subtlety of the path - it was narrow! It seemed good and safe. I looked back at my own trail and saw my footprints on a narrow portion of the path. I hadn’t stayed totally in the tall grass! I looked back at Jesus, frightened. “Did I stray?” Jesus put his hand on my arm and I felt my panic dissipate, but the fear didn’t completely leave my heart. “Look down.” I saw some darts still in portions of my body, but then I realized some of the darts were shards of wood. I was not just a pin cushion, but I also had significant injuries. I looked back at Jesus. “Demons have been trying to take you out. Many of you.” He gestured around the field. “The footprints are the moments you thought to give up and not continue through the tall grass, but if you notice, it’s only a step or two. You know Me, you know My nature, My heart, and because of that trust, you went back in. You continued to walk.” As He reminded me of what I knew about Him the fear left my heart.

Jesus continued to speak, “Those who have stayed on the false narrow path have forgotten who I am because the pressure of the tall grass is more than they can handle. In order to navigate the pressure you have to constantly be aligned. 2023 was the year of alignment and not all of them were willing to stay in the place of submission.”

He pointed to a medical tent in the middle of the field. “Go,” Jesus said. “Get your deeper wounds tended to, and then keep walking. This season of walking in the tall grass isn't over.” I looked at the medical tent and continued looking past it to the next field. The field was on fire. I looked back at Jesus, “Do we have to go?” “Yes,” He replied. “I will be with you in the fire. I will be with you in the storm, I will be with you in the calm.” I looked Him in the eye. “Those are the upcoming seasons, aren’t they? Fire, storm, and calm, but the calm isn’t positive, is it?” Jesus looked down and pulled out a pocket watch, “No, the calm is false, but the shaking that comes after is Me. We are at war and I am with you every step of the way. I am lifting my hand so the people will see me. The question that is being asked of the world is, ‘Who do you say I am?’ The time for commitment has come. Judgment is falling. The hour of black and white, sheep and goat, has come. Now go to the tent and head out to the field of fire. You will find the lost and direct them to Me.” He was suddenly gone. I looked at the field of people and we were starting to walk towards the tent. Phase two had commenced.
